Convention Season Begins!

This weekend, the board (and a few other friends) got together to put together sets of comic books. Three thousand of them, in fact. The inspiration for the sets was, of course, the classic 3-Pack Whitman Comics that I loved so much as a kid. The sets will be handed out, for free, at conventions (while supplies last, of course). It’s our way of introducing fans to the efforts of The Midnight Lantern Foundation.

We hauled 20+ boxes of comics up from one basement storeroom and down into my studio, then proceeded to pull more than 2,000 comics into 3-packs that we’ll be giving away at conventions and events in the coming weeks. As we bagged up books, our new banner for The Midnight Lantern Foundation arrived to usher us along this path!

A busy day but a great day spent with awesome folks.
